INDUSTRIES · MANUFACTURING

Dock scheduling for manufacturing plants.

The shipping dock is where the plant's day meets everyone else's. ROME keeps raw materials, finished goods and the trucks that carry them on one board, so the plant manager and the dock are working off the same facts.

What's different about a plant dock

Late in means late out

See inbound materials that haven't arrived yet, while there's still time to call the carrier or move the plan.

Why it was late

When a load runs past its due time, the dock picks a reason: product not ready, driver late, no door. Now there's a pattern to fix.

Goals for more than one plant

Operations managers set targets per plant and compare sites side by side. See the dashboards →
